About Harper

Frances Harper Junior High School serves grades 7-9 and has been committed to student learning, growth and development for students for over ten years.  Harper provides a safe, caring and inclusive school community for all students.

Harper currently serves over 600 students.  Harper is implementing the Common Core curriculum and is committed to ensuring that all learners succeed in school.  Harper provides its students with a strong, comprehensive academic program and has a number of supports in place for students to receive academic and social support.  Programs include AVID (Achievement via Individual Determination), BRIDGE, an after-school support program, a growing EL program for English Language learners, athletic programs and a myriad of clubs and service groups offering enrichment and social opportunities for all Harper students.
